As the beginning of the project, this first phase of the project is an introduction in to the identity and characteristic of branding.  Each student have to choose 3 company as their case study and defy what is the thick point  that make them well known then we have to defy the material of each brand. Some maybe a service brand so they don't have any real material, so we have to focus on how they make themselves growth like this.



REI
REI is an outdoor gear and clothes brand which selling outdoor item around US

REI is very interesting in terms of service because they provide the trip around the world for their customers. 
They really want to make people go out of their house and enjoy in life in the different part of the world. 


BANDCAMP
Bandcamp is an online musical shop and community services

Bandcamp support the independent artist by allowing them to sell their songs, albums and merch on the website
This is very interesting because they not only create the opportunity for them they also bring together the community of good sound


MAYWA DENKI
Maywa Denki is Japanese brand that create a lot of crazy mechanical instrument and having unexpected  idea.

Maywa Denki called they product as non-sense machine. Firstly they just come up with the question about everything and then they try to defy the answer and show it out as an art and if they liked it they will mass produce it and sell.
