MATERIAL1: MUSCLE TENSION TO COMPONENT1: TRANSFORMATIVE COLUMN
This plate shows the development of ideas from the selected material, which is muscle tension (flexion and extension) to the 3d representation of its changing by a set of legs that is able to rotate, bend, and 'inflated' from the inflating volume inside
Without inflation
With inflation
Component
consists of increased number of legs and the 2 plates are movable along the legs to create variation
MATERIAL2: SENSOR TO COMPONENT2: TRANSFORMATIVE GREENHOUSE
The plate shows the development of ideas from sensor to the architectural component of transformative greenhouse that has the operational roof top to adjust the volume ans spaces inside
Experiment 1
1st experiment of homemade sensor, this is a specific type of sensor called accelerometer that tracks and demonstrate the motion direction
Developed version of the sensor with multiples legs to demonstrate the change in field, where the distortion of field created from movement
Putting the components back to context of the social environment, the greenhouses serve as private aspect of the community where the columns are placed in the park open to the use of public to make the dwelling area and interaction.
