EVOLVE : Material Memes
As the continuation from the previous phase, using the relationship established
between candidates, the ideas, keywords that describe the relation of those brands,
to derive the material through several material experiment.
The context explaining the relation between candidates through timeline diagram
and keywords that use to connect them i.e., Flexibility, and visions.
Through a series of experiments and reproductions, build a research trajectory on selected
candidate materials. Conduct iterative design experiments towards an architectural component
which positions material capacity as a fundamental seed for design development.
Here, I explore different material that have very light weight and also very flexible,
using weaving and sewing as the method of experimentation through the combination
of several material to generate Meta Material that pushes the limit of the word 'Flexibility'.
The META Material here possessed the very flexible properties, it could be fold,
bend, rolled, have very light weight, adapted to several uses and purpose depending
on the scale and size of the material.
The material here when combine together could create a dynamic structure,
free the limitation of design and construction.
The idea of scale is apply to generate possibilities of application towards different
architectural components, create new atmosphere, new experience, new way of looking
towards the contemporary future of design industries
