PHASE 2
: MATERIAL&COMPONENT
First material is combination between DNA and heart rate from the first phase which is "pinecone".
Pinecone is a thing that from a pine tree which is the thing that have a live so, it can link to DNA and the function
of pinecone is they can open and close their scale respond to the humid in the air so, this can link to heart rate, that can influence by factor outside
For the component from pinecone, that is the function of open and close their scale respond to the humid
in the air. The component the i want to do is facade that can open and close that respond to the weather or humid in the air. By using the properties of the material not a mechanic system. And material that i try to explore
is timber.
Second material is "cellulose acetate" which is the high quality plastic that has flexibility than normal plastic.
It different thing from other plastic is normal plastic their made from oil, but for acetate their made from timber fibre.
Because acetate can melt easily and can become solid in the mole quite fast. So, it can use in the main material that do something in mass product way like furniture or some architect component that need a lot of number ex. tile, roof tile, block.
Context page, i want to create exercise space for every age can access. In page i represent in a term of playground, place that every age can access for do the outdoor activity for exercise. The face can do something like moveable facade for indoor exercise area for ventilation and shading or can be the tool to entertain children while waiting parent exercise. And for acetate they can be like the furniture that need a lot of number of floor tile or component in the gym, exercise area, by using their flexibility to be the benefit of that furniture, tool or component.
