The plate derived the system and workflow from the Ecovative design and integrated it with the idea of public workshop. The plate show the flow of people work and the flow of the material itself from the input to the output and what people can learn and made through out the system. The workshop brand is name " Alter-grow " which is derived from the word "Alternative" and "Growing" to reflect the concept of the inorganic grow or expansion of this workshop space.

This plate contain site analysis which is the Maria Aves at Brooklyn, New york and the workshop take about a block of free space to be establish the workshop and the diagram also show the possibility of shape of each unit how they connect and grow and expand on 3 axis. The reason of the square base is easy to make and build and for the future "growth" or expansion of the workshop, The design of the base should be unity and controllable before it was freely build in the future. The workshop itself work as starting spot that will affect the context of the surrounding in the future.

2nd floor atmospheric representation

People are learning to make they own architectural structure using timber joinery and facade, also workshop is open for people at all age to educate about this new material "Mycelium"

The leftover sawdust from making the strucuture and the organic waste from around the city was gather here to create a mycelium material the space underground is a perfect environment for them to cultivated. The material is reusable and sustainable.

The plate show how the workshop start and develop over time with people who come that create new requirement for the workshop as the new program is appear due to new need and development like when a large group of people want to come and join lecture the workshop need a large lecture room or if the ecovative want to research more on other biomaterial then the laboratory program need to be expand. all this need is the factor for this workshop to be develop and expand.
