' Fantasy - Sponge wrap '
Starting this phase by fixed my old future context, I focused of how hermes bring fantasy to real life and engage customer to the brand to come and photograph. So, I wonder if Hermes window display are accessible so you can experience fantasy by entering the window display that would be also the Photo Booth with a printed out function and internet to share your fantasy moment on social network and bring that moment home. This campaign also provided free advertisement to the brand and can take attention from the customer. Then we were asked to select two materials from the brand, I selected fantasy and sponge wrap as my material.
' Fantasy '
As I took the idea of fantasy from Hermes as a material, I thinking of how things can become fantasy so I come up with the result “to make things become alive”. I chose fabric as my material as it can represent fashion as well and this material can create a lot of movement. I’ve test how many ways to apply the movement to the fabric with other conditions such as
1.) waving and floating by using water
2.) flowing by the wind both natural and artificial
3.) Stretching for example when you are wearing your cloths
4.) Rotation by using rotate motor
and 5.) Vibration by using vibrator, flicking or shaking it.
This come my architecture components first a swing partition where I hang the fabric on the ceiling and make it rotate so the rotated fabric can defined the boundary of the space under the swing fabric so when you are inside that space you will see the fabric moving around you all the time. Second, Dancing surface where I make the fabric surface shake this can be use as a ceiling,wall and floor as well so when you are entering the space It will be like you are walking through the space that vibrate all the time.

Another material, I took the plastic bubble wrap pouch from glossier as the main idea. I try making my own style bubble wrap by ironing the 2 plastic sheets with the sponge cutting in simple shape in the middle, my sponge wrap has the same properties as a real bubble wrap as it can be use as a protector. For the architecture components, I decided to create this as a SOFT floor so it is safety for children in case of falling another performance was that by this method we can create many pattern so If we turns this into facade we can have a playful partition that when the light pass through it will create the pattern on the floor.
