Project 1.2 : Brand Genetics Pakjira Itthisang

Phase 1 : Select

This phase is required students to select three different candidates or brands. Students have to research
and find identities, brand value, also the business of each candidate.

NETFLIX

Identity

NETFLIX is the entertainment company and must well known as the "steaming software". This company identity
is the service in the their company. Firstly, their brand started by sell/rent DVD and sent the products by mail. After they
rebranding their company to be the steaming video in the webpage to solve the problem for their consumers waiting the mail for long time, therefore in these days they try to put their company into human life by produce application, software to
install in any devices which people use such as i-phone, play station, etc. Moreover, one point of this company
which make their company more comfortable to their users is everything in their services are up to their consumers planning.





Material

There are low number of employees because they have one main office in each continents as Asia the main office
is located in South Korea. What I mean by this is that even though they use less of employees but they can span and receive their data around the worlds.






Kodak

Identity

Kodak is known as the technologies company in these days because they produce many products not only film and camera after they got the affect of the competition company. Now, this company still know as the camera and film company. In this year, they have to new identities which is Kodak coin for the photographer sell their picture in the internet. For the identity of Kodak is the classic, photograph and innovation of technology. Furthermore, for my option for this company is the idea that they try to put up their company is one point to focus this company.




Material

For Kodak, we must for focus their brand in term of the timeline from past to present by way they used to lift up and the reason why they still in the market in these days. Therefore, from the diagram that I made is showing the timeline from past which they are in the highest point and then go down because there are other companies in the market, after they rebranding by have another which are not cameras and films. This reason why they can grow up to be the same as the past.




Admit Hub

Identity 

These days, some college, school and university students are using e-mail or call also meet their educators for contract them, sometime they did not get the answers or could not meet their educators. Therefore, Admit Hub produce the application which use AI chatbot to solve these problems. By now they start at Georgia college is the first one where use their application to support their student, their staff and their educators. Moreover, this company is started from the problem of summer melt in group of new student who apply the college.




Material

The main idea of this company is the "chat bot". The process of the chat bot is after the user sent the text, they will find the keywords and sent those to the categories which is the same content to the word. Another points of this software is using less number of employees because they just add the content to the software.





From the those materials I found the intersection point which is the evolution of technology. I found that my three candidates is the brand which support human life by using technology which develop from analog to digital periods. As my plate, I try to to show that technology is having the new step all the time but there are not giving the advantage  but still have negative way in the same time.
